I saw where another member needed to know how to access the gas assembly for LP conversion. On mine, it was difficult to figure out since there is no access panel. You have to take the top panel off (two screws in the back). Then remove the four screws on the plastic top front control panel, lean outward and bump in the center to release the fixed clips. Then you can remove the door (two screws) and the door keeper (two screws) the oposing side door screws (two) and the two screws at the bottom inside door circle. at this point there are as I recall, four screws at the top that you can get to after the control panel has been moved aside. After removing all these you can lift the front panel up and off. Take care with the assembly, not to break the igniter. You can first remove the screw in the rear panel to release the gas pipe, then remove screws to allow removal of the gas assembly to give access to change the conversion orfice and regulator pin parts. This was by far the most difficult change out that I've seen. Once you have done it, it is much easier to put back together.

5 I'll echo my kudos to Jerry. His instructions also worked perfect on my DV328AG Samsung Dryer. I'll only add a couple of hints: (1)After removing the two rear screws for the top panel, pull the panel rearward (NOT upward) to disengage a couple of "keyholes" from their respective flanged pins near the front, and (2)After tilting the front panel out at the top, carefully remove the wiring from the door safety switch by placing a small awl in the notch at the parting line between the harness plug and the switch, and prying the edge of the switch away from the harness plug. 5 This was very helpful. It took less than an hour. I was able to complete the conversion with removing the control panel. Once the screws are out, the lead wire gives you enough slack that you can rest the control panel on top of the dryer until you complete the conversion. Great instructions...thanks!

5 Jerry Katz saved me a lot of time fretting about where to start with the conversion. I was able to do everything within an hour. If you need the conversion kit, it is a Maytag MAL9000AXX. It's almost a "breeze". Thanks, Jerry.
