I have a Russell Hobbs steam glide 2200 Iron model...

I have a Russell Hobbs steam glide 2200 Iron model Number 13154. I have lost the manual, and need to know why my iron won't prime. I have tried everything, but water doesn't get into the thick cable in order for me to steam. could you please let me know how to fix it
