Recently when using the steam iron there has been a white residue build-up (im guessing calcium) on the plate of the iron. Today when I turned it on and waited for it to heat up and be ready to use I press the steam button and it started shooting out white steam everywhere and all over the iron plate. What can I do to fix this and prevent it from happening again.
