Question About Rowenta Iron DX1900
my iron turns on but then it turns off and I can't...

my iron turns on but then it turns off and I can't get it to come on very easily or not at all. I have tried to shake it and tip it forward but nothing works very weel. It is in good shape has not been used or abused. I only use it about 4 times per year. What am I doing wrong?
