washer appears to cycle normally but will not spin at the end of a draining merely hums. I disassembled machine and found the direct drive coupling worn, this will be replaced. this does not seem to be the problem though as when the machine is empty the spin cycle will engage. the machine has run flawlessly for 16 years. what components could cause this problem
