Spin cycle - Not Spinning - Loud Noise...

Loud banging noise Sounds like bearing problem? My washer makes a loud banging noise when it extracts water and spins. This noise is not from load unbalance--it happens everytime, any load. It will drain but really, really slow...going to check pump bearings?
