the machine seems to run, spin and drain but the agitator seems to be free spinning. Normally, when you try to spin the agitator, the drum locks and sppins with it, today it does not. I tried to get the nut loose under the softener container on the agitator but it won't move. Is tis worthy of a repair, or should I go buy another? Also, how can you determine how old it is?
