water and limescale deposits were coming from the holes in the plate of the iron, so I undid the decalc knob and emptied the chamber. I finished the bit of ironing I had with no problem. The next day I came to iron the next load of washing and the decalc red light is flashing, but the iron isn't heating up so undoing the knob isn't helping and now the iron won't heat up and the decalc light is constantly flashing
