Detergent tray...

Tray came all the way out and now I have a loose orange triangular shaped piece with two holes and no idea where it goes

0 You found the tool to open the lint trap door, the round panel on front lower right of the washer. The tool sits on a peg inside the detergent drawer. Check page 36 of the manual that you will find here: http://www.miele.com/manuals_pdf/Residential/Washers/W4840_us.pdf
