Question About Maytag Washer A506
On my Maytag A506 washer, there is a removable cup...

On my Maytag A506 washer, there is a removable cup inside the filter attached to the agitator. Is that for soap or for softener? I'm getting both as answers online. Logic tells me it's for softener, but it would be great to know for sure. The pic attached is of the filter. Thanks
