my washer wont drain how do i check to see if the motor is clogged

0 Make sure the pump belt (the one that goes from the motor across under the front) is on and in good shape. Try to turn the pump pulley from underneath. If it does not turn or is very hard to turn, take the front off of the washer and the hoses off the pump and look for the obstruction. Also check the tub-to-pump hose and the drain hose for obstructions.
