My Maytag washer, MAH22PRAWW0, displays "sync" on ...

My Maytag washer, MAH22PRAWW0, displays "sync" on display for a few seconds after being pluged in and then shows " _ _ _ _". I don't see anything for repair codes to fix the problem. Can you help?
