Maytag a510s that will re-use the water. Behind the washer, at the bottom there is a plastic piece which directs the drain hoses. I can see one hose goes into this plastic piece then it directs two out; one hose to a holding sink and one to a drain. There is an electronic diverter. While moving it, we broke this piece. It looks to me like we could remove this piece and just connect the hoses in a straight line into the drain. Am I correct?
