Have a Maytag mdg5806aww gas dryer, heat not stayi...

Have a Maytag mdg5806aww gas dryer, heat not staying on enough. Vent clear, and replaced ignighter. Problem started with chipmunk in vent tube, removed , worked for a while then heating problem occurred. thanks for your help, Don Bianco
