Had a pair of sneakers in a batch of laundry. One of them got lodged at the back where the barrel turns. I heard the machine stop tumbling and removed the shoe. Now the machine won't turn on. All lights and control panel still illuminate but that's all it'll do. I unplugged it from the wall hoping to "re-set" it but no luck. Please help ASAP , I am visiting my mom while my dad is in the hospital. It's her dryer and I can't afford to call a repair man.
