I also have this problem - bad odour in my LG WD-80250NP washing machine. This problem started within one month after machine was bought. I wrote to the suppliers, manufacturers ... no solution from them. I then found the problem ... after a wash, some water remains in the machine, and if not drained, wall start to smell terrible! So... you will have to drain the water manually from the machine after each use ... what schlepp!!! I am sooo very sorry I ever bought this LG ... should have stayed with Defy ... On the right lower front of my machine is a little door,which I have to open, then drain the water ... and I have to do this after each wash, ... if not, the machine has a most terrible bad odour, which will be in the clothes with your next wash!! I use good washing powders, eg Bio Classic, and Skip, as well as softeners,eg Sta soft, so this cannot be the cause of the problem.
