The start button will not start my machine. But I can get it to start by spinning the drum. What is wrong with it? WM2016CW

0 The brushes on the motor may be worn out, does it spark underneath when the drum is turning? If it does, definitely the brushes. Some repair shops will replace the brushes. New motors are not readily available for this model.
