5 This same thing happened to me today. What worked for me was replacing the thermal fuse. I took the back cover off the dryer (6 bolts and 1 screw). Pretty much right in the middle is the thermal fuse. It is 2" long and white plastic (I've attached a photo.) There is one screw holding it in and two push-on connectors. I removed the part and taped the connectors together with electrical tape as a test. The dryer worked fine. I bought the part at an appliance part store. The part number is 3392519S. It cost me under $10. It's the same part for a whirlpool dryer. I attached the new one, put the cover back on and the dryer is good as new. Good Luck, Sandra

0 Anybody remember where the red cable connects, close to the screw or on the other end?

0 The Thermal fuse has a blue and red wire. Where does the red wire go, near the screw other end. Please advise as soon as possible since i do not remember the wire locations (blue or red) only two terminals.
