5 There are Frigidaire washer models that have digital readout displays while some do not. For the models that have it, the error code or failure codes appear in the display with a letter “E” and then followed by numerical digits. The sequence is number and a letter, two numbers or two letters. For those without a display and an error occurs, the control beeps and any of the control display lights with alert by a flash. There are five lights that are on the display; Rinse, Final Spin, Door Lock, Control and the Wash lights. The flash lights are an indicator of alarm for the Frigidaire washers without display. The error can be solved by pressing the Pause or Cancel button. Whenever the five light indicators flash twice and the start indicator four times, the error code is E24. However if the five lights flash nine or more times, it is to indicate the following errors have occurred: A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, F = 15. If they flash 15 times and the start indicator once the error is F1. This does not apply to washers beginning their serial numbers with XC4. For these washers follow all the steps for solving the error (just like the other machines) but prolong your press on the Option button at the same time accompanied by Pause/Cancel button.
