I mistakenly left a tube of lipstick in a pocket and the entire load is streaked red. How do I get the washer to SOAK the clothes for 4 hours?

5 Select whatever cycle you want, I would suggest one with hot water, and start the washer. The washer will start to fill with water, stand there and listen. When it stops putting water in, just turn the washer off. I have had to unplug washers before, but it works. I would put a scoop of oxyclean in there as well. After it soaks, just start the washer again. It will sense that it's full of water and run the cycle from there. If this doesn't work, fill your bathtub with hot water and oxyclean and soak your clothes in there. Hope this helps, lipstick is a bitch to get out once it's set.
