I have the Kenmore elite top load washing machine and when I do laundry, the whole laundry room smells horrible like water sitting in the basin. How do I get that to go away? Do I need to clean the washing machine a special way and put it on the "Clean cycle. I did that once and it seemed to make the inside of the washer dirty and did not help the smell.
