I have a Kenmore washer Serial# 29831, it has been a good machine until one night, it just suddenly stop draining out the water; otherwise, all other functions (fill in water, spin, wash, etc) are OK. A contractor came & indicated the water pump was bad and the washer was DONE, because no part is there and no one would know how to fix it due to it was old, & I need to buy new washer. Is this true? Please advise. Thank you MUCH. Steve
