Hi. I have Kenmore Washing Machine Model 110.25852400 . the door switch doesn't start the washing machine. When I hold the door switch down with a pencil it starts the machine. So the electric circuit is fine except the little door knob that should press down on the assembly below is not doing its job. What can I do to fix it. The machines is fine , it is the top door when shut down doesn' t start the machine like it is supposed too.
