I just bought a used dryer model #110.63102101 and...

I just bought a used dryer model #110.63102101 and when I open it up to get my clothes out it is still running. Isn't their A maganizim that will stop it from continual running. Please Let me know how I can resolve this problem Thank you Gladys Goulette
