5 Before replacing anything do a couple quick things: - check outtake vent for clogs - check dryer lent trap and make sure it's clean - go to circuit breaker in the house and turn the breaker to the dryer on and off If it's still not getting warm it's probably either the hearing element or the thermostat. If it's slightly warm troubleshoot the thermostat first. If it's not warm at all, just cold air, troubleshoot the heating element first. You will need a multimeter to test each component. If you don't have one, borrow one from a friend or pick up the cheapest one you can find from the hardware store.
