my washing machine is locked in a cycle< it can on...

my washing machine is locked in a cycle< it can only be switched off at the wall and goes back on to the previous wash but remains static, it leaves the washing soaking wet< can i clear the cycle? i had a machine before where i had too press two buttons at the same time to do this.
