2012 year old Indesit (IWDE7168) Washer Dryer: Mid wash started making a loud noise - but did conclude the wash cycle OK. Checked the filter and found two halves of what looks like it was an open ended circular ring that had snapped. Tried re-running a wash but this time no water came into the machine. Any ideas where that ring/spring came from? Why the noise? Why no incoming water?
