My washer dryer will not empty and half way throug...

My washer dryer will not empty and half way through a cycle all lights start flashing;??? Any ideas what the problem could be???

0 We have the same problem..again. We had a similar issue last year. It turns out that the drain pump had worn out, (clogged with hair) -sadly there is no filter on this machine, (only a coin trap) Does it sound like something is trying to move but can't? Try switching the unit off for 3 min. Move dial to drain, and it should work. We changed the pump ourselves, since it was cheaper than the call out charge for the 'free' parts warranty offered by Hotpoint. -That being said, turns out the Hotpoint partswere cheaper than buying generic replacement from a local store!
