I need help to clean my filter, i have removed the kick board, rotated what looks like the filter , water came out but the white plastic bit doesn't come out. The reason i am trying to clean the filter is because the drum is giving off a terrible smell, all downstairs smells of the washing machine, so i presumed the filter must be full of debris, please can you help,. thanx, i look forward to your reply
