Question About Hotpoint Washer/Dryer WD440
Dryer not heating...

Hi My dryer functions correctly but does not heat. I had a mains trip so am assuming at this point that the dryer element has failed. I am told that there may be one or two thermostats in circuit. Does anyone have any info on this and which would be the most probable failure. Regards Terry

0 i have had the same problem - there is a one-shot thermal cut out in the dryer assembly which if you get any problems will just cut-out and needs replacing.
