Question About Hotpoint Washer/Dryer HVF 344
door error message...

I put the machine on a quick wash 30min, came back & clothes were dripping so put the clothes to spin and came back to see an error message of "door" flashing on the panel. Please could I be given advice. I have turned the machine off and then tried to restart it on a different programme but it continues to flash "door"
