2 We have recently moved house and the Hotpoint Ultima 7kg m/c which was left,fitted and plumbed in,is alkso leaving these same marks on certain items,plus the the 'gungey' residue in the door rubber seems to be ineradicable. Are there any possible remedies?A new door seal rubber might ,presumably,eradicate second problem,but seems unlikely to stop theleaving of marks on white washing. Do hotpoint have any solutions or is it a case of a'rogue' machine or are all these models similarly flawed?

0 I have the same model and mines is doing this to?! Also having terrible problems with mould and black marks around door rubber (which is left open inbetween washes, very annoying!

0 My washing machine is doing the same too, the rubber door seal is covered in black mould so I have to take great care when washing my partner's white shirts! My machine is only 2 and half yrs old. Very, very annoying. I've never experienced this before with previous w/m. I'm considering replacing the seal or buying a new machine altogether!
