Question About Hotpoint Washer None
leak problem...

have a leak problem on the last cycle right before it drains, comes out the overflow tube on the rear left side, any suggestions why? not much comes out a quart or 2, any help is appreciated

5 reach in and pull the agitater straight up to remove it and inspect the tub where it connects to the agitater ( motor). I bet it is rusted clean thru

0 i found out it doesn't leak as long as i keep it on medium water fill, it looks like it fills up 3/4 of the tub on medium, i need to know what adjusts water level in the system

0 If you pull the front panel off ( take a reg. screwdriver or putty knife and insert it between the front and side panels and pry to release the clips from the panel) you will have a wonderful veiw of the clear plastic tube that senses the water level. If ya want pics , just say so and I'll take and send ya some... as mine is off and being readied for the replacement HUB ( Hub rotted out and dislocated the tub from the motor)
