Question About Hotpoint Washer WF840
display shows 'test ' and I cannot get out of this...

display shows 'test ' and I cannot get out of this mode even by switching off power from mains socket. Consequently I am unable to start a wash. How do I get out of test mode ? It's my 84 year old aunties machine !!
