Question About Hotpoint Clothes Dryer CTD40
Water in drum...

Dryer is 3 years old. Drum seems to only turn by hand and water can be heard inside it. It won't work and trips RCD. Any idea how to drain it off. I have removed all trapped lint from condenser. Thanks

0 Hi take the back panel of the dryer (the roundish raised panel) and the water should run out as it has got onto the electrical heater elements. I had to replace the elements on mine as the cardboard supporting the elements had fallen to bits. Try Espares.co.uk cheaper than buying direct from hotpoint.
