Question About Hotpoint Clothes Dryer None
No longer drying properly...

Was working fine, but no longer heating up air. Mechanical action seems fine. What should I try first? Can I test the element for continuity? CAn I test the thermostats some how? Is there a service manual I can access? Any help very welcome.
