Question About Hotpoint Clothes Dryer CTD00
drum not turning round...

dryer was making a banging noise when the drum was turning, it sounded like it was coming from the bottom right hand side. It has now stopped banging but the drum is not turning at all. It is still getting hot inside though? Many thanks

0 ours is doing the same and i think the belt has come off. the problem is how to get inside it!

0 i've now got inside the machine by taking the side panel off. the belt had come off the small wheel at the bottom. i put it back on and hey presto! it works. i think there is a bit of a design fault with this machine.
