I have recently moved into a flat with a Hoover auto washer 800 soft wave - looks a bit dated - I am concerned it is washing my clothes at a much higher temp than what I set it to on the dial. How can I tell if its washing them at the right temp? And how can I find out how long the cycles are supposed to take - I cannot find a manual on-line and no manual in the house. It seems to be on for about 2 hours when I put it on setting 4 - 40 degrees - non fast coloureds.
