Question About GE Washer/Dryer WSM2400L
I have a 20-something year old GE Quality Product ...

I have a 20-something year old GE Quality Product Spacemaker Laundry (WSM2400LDBWH). The dryer is making a clanging, grinding, etc noise: GE service says the good news is it's a "fixable" problem; the bad news is the part needed is no longer available - when you can no longer put up with the noise, but a new unit. Now I'm trying to find a model with the same dimensions and at least the same capacities. What model replaced the model I have?

0 That's where I started. It does not give size/capacity specifications so I am unable to compare to currently available models.
