My washer is almost 6 years old & in the last year it will sometimes NOT stop filling up, but the cycle will run. Water just comes out all over the place until the entire cycle is done. It seems to do this on the rinse cycle as opposed to the wash cycle. & it doesn't do all the time. Any advice of whats wrong or needs to be replaced?? If I catch it the only way to stop it is to shut off the water, then let the cycle complete.

0 UNFORTUNATELY NOT.......I was told by SEVERAL different plumbing people, I need to have someone come out & look at it, which I don't want to do.....That will end up costing me more then it would to replace it.....When I posted the original comment, I stated it seemed to do it more on the rinse cycle then any other time...That's not true any longer, it does it on fill up, & has even come back on at the final spin & not shut off....I just know it's a problem at this point, & watch it....It would be great if you ever find out what needs 2b replaced & let me know too...
