My washer is still under warranty and before I call a technician out for servicing, I was hoping someone could provide some sort quick help. Problem: I selected my settings and started the washer, loaded my laundry and closed the lid. I returned an hour later and the unit was still full of water, the fabric softener remained in the center cup, the laundry detergent was still present in the water. I checked the dial to ensure I didn't accidentally disengage it and I was surprised to see that it had cycled through the wash cycle without ever physically washing the laundry. I disengaged the dial, turned it to the drain and spin selection and re engaged the dial but nothing happened(with the exception of a slight hum heard faintly from the control panel). I could hear clicking hear and there from the drive assembly but only a few times. The tub looked as though it was trying to move but it never did. Is there something simple causing this that I am overlooking?
