My washer is almost 7 years old and has been having intermittant problems with the start button and cycle selector knob. It cuts out sometimes or doesn't want to stay started. Just recently I was looking at the control assembly board and when I reset the connections the washer now will not spinning. The lid switch doesn't stop it, nothing but unplugging it stops it. I'm wondering if I need to replace the control ASP, or if it's something all together worse. Is it worth the cost of replacing the $120+ dollar part or should I be looking at a new washer? Thanks.
