When turning the knob it sounds as if it is getting electricity to the dryer but makes a very loud sound, does not turn. Last year someone came to fix it and I had to pull the stem out far enough for the know to latch back on to the stem. There was heat prior to it quitting. Not sure where to begin in replacing parts. It's as if in a car it is getting gas but won't go!
