GE dryer model gtdp400emws automaticaly shuts off ...

GE dryer model gtdp400emws automaticaly shuts off during cycle. the top surface off the unit gets very hot. after a while you can restart but shuts back off. The vent to the exterior is less than eight feet to the outside and it is clean. bought the unit new and installed it 11 days ago.

0 same issue with model DLLLR33EJOWW---first time start stops after less than 5 min---let cool down and start second time and it works fine through cycle---repeated issue every time---does not happen when using the "fluff no heat' setting
