The timed drying works...it runs the set time and then shuts off. However auto the time never starts thus the dryer will continue running. Vent seems to be clear of lent...not sure which thermostat to replace or look at.

0 well I actually wound up taking the dryer apart thinking that the sensors rarely go out. What I found was that one of the heating coils were broken. This caused the dryer to never heat up enough to dry the clothes - in essence the timer never started because the conditions were never met. I replaced both heating coils and the dryer works like a charm.

0 That sounds like it, but the only way to find out is to tear into it! $30.00 and about an hour and you'll be fixed up! Its a good idea to vacuum out the blower and internal duct work while the front panel is off. Good Luck!
