0 Good Afternoon rmeari6475, thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, your Frigidaire laundry center (GLEH1642FS) may possibly have a faulty lid switch damaged springs, or be out of balance. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Best regards – Chris
