I have a 2004 frigidaire washer and the belt broke for the spin cycle I fixed the problem but it won't turn on

5 The belt on any washing machine is not just for spin, it is also designed to operate the transmission for wash cycle as well. If you have dismantled the machine enough to replace the belt, there is a possibility that one of the electrical connections may have been loosened, or came off. You may want to check all connections for the timer or circuit board, lid switch and motor. Since the washing machine worked until the belt broke, and you have replaced the belt, check all electrical connections.
