When machine cycle is engaged, the unit makes a grinding sound, not as intense as the door open alarm, more like a motor grinding. However, i inspected the motor and it works ok. Also found some ground poly foam (similar to air conditioning foam) under the semi dome shaped plastic part inside mid left. What could this mean..?

0 I appreciate your inquiry, martingenek! From what you have described you hear a grinding noise and you have located some ground poly foam inside of your Frigidaire washer.
