My washer shuts off in the middle of all cycles. It first makes a humming noise and then eventually shuts off. I cleaned the hose/pump. I was going to try to fix it myself however I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars when I could buy a top load for $400. I can hear it drain --- do you think I should bother changing the door lock?
