I have this model, fafw4011lwo, it's only two years old and lightly used. Currently it is just not spinning, the drum is fine, no noise from bad bearings, the belt is good and snug, the motor seems OK, the door locks when it starts the cycle but although it kicks in for about half a turn, the tub won't spin or turn any more than that. What buttons need to be pushed to enter the phase where I can see the error codes? Thanks, SK

3 Hi skennedy158, I am happy to assist you! Often when your washer does not spin, it is because your appliance cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does your washer make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. In the meantime, try pressing and holding START/PAUSE and CANCEL together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds. What error code did your washer displayed? If not, because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Best regards - Chris

0 Thanks for the info, as it turned out, I opened the top cover and found a service manual taped to the inside, it showed the error codes. I narrowed it down to needing a control board. I have one on order.
